Neglected, mistreated Rottweilers are often mean and aggressive, but it is true for other breeds as well. They need early socialisation and obedience training in order to be a friendly, well behaved dogs. Training this breed is easy as they are eager to learn new things, but they require a patient, calm trainer who rewards them often.
